Brooklyn based, experimental avant-rock musician, Jacob Hales has released a new single in anticipation of his upcoming 2014 EP. His two newest collections of songs is entitled Cataracts Single, and they are jarring and entrancing.
Jacob’s music has evolved over time from off kilter, treble based, found object experimental, noise compositions to intricate electro-acoustic art rock. His uniquely and shrill-fully pleasant vocals coat his fast paced and creative instrumental style interestingly well. You can expect a lot more from Jacob, as his music will grow and morph more into the vain of his new compositional style. Cataracts Single is a great example of what is to come. We always look forward to hearing more from Jacob!
