The Rolling Stones’ Foreign Tongues Debuts at No. 7 on the Billboard 200 and No. 1 on the UK Official Albums Chart

The Rolling Stones’ latest studio album earns major global chart milestones, extending the band’s historic record as one of the most successful acts in music history

ASPEN, CO — July 20, 2026 —The Rolling Stones have achieved major chart success with their latest full-length album FOREIGN TONGUES, debuting at No. 7 on the Billboard 200 chart in the United States and No. 1 on the UK Official Albums Chart. The album’s performance continues the band’s unparalleled legacy as one of the most enduring and influential recording artists in the world.

In the United States, FOREIGN TONGUES enters the Billboard 200 at No. 7 with 53,000 equivalent album units earned in its first week. The total includes 48,500 traditional album sales, making the album the No. 1 title on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart. The debut extends The Rolling Stones’ record for the most Billboard 200 Top 10 albums in chart history, marking the band’s 39th Top 10 entry on the all-genre albums chart.

In the United Kingdom, FOREIGN TONGUES debuts at No. 1 on the Official Albums Chart, marking The Rolling Stones’ 15th UK chart-topping album. The achievement places the band alongside The Beatles for the most No. 1 albums by a group in Official Albums Chart history. 

Released via Polydor Records, FOREIGN TONGUES is The Rolling Stones’ 25th studio album and follows the band’s Grammy Award-winning 2023 release HACKNEY DIAMONDS. The album continues the creative momentum established by the group’s celebrated return to new studio material while showcasing their continued commitment to songwriting, recording, and performance. 

Featuring Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, and Ronnie Wood, FOREIGN TONGUES includes a collection of new recordings that highlight the band’s signature blend of rock, blues, and contemporary influences. The album also features appearances from several acclaimed musicians, including Paul McCartney, Steve Winwood, Robert Smith of The Cure, and Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, along with a special recording contribution from longtime drummer Charlie Watts.
