FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
June 3, 2026 — Aspen, CO — Acclaimed singer-songwriter Niall Horan and experimental composer and multidisciplinary artist Makeshivt Kity (Jordannah Elizabeth Graham-Mayer) are each releasing ambitious new works that reflect the evolving landscape of contemporary music.
Niall Horan’s Dinner Party: A Celebration of Relationships and Reflection
Following the success of his previous solo recordings, Niall Horan returns with Dinner Party, a collection of songs that expands upon the thoughtful songwriting and melodic craftsmanship that have become hallmarks of his solo career.
Known internationally for his work as a member of One Direction and later as a successful solo artist, Horan has steadily developed a reputation as a songwriter capable of balancing large-scale pop appeal with introspective storytelling. On Dinner Party, he continues that trajectory, drawing inspiration from the dynamics of friendship, romance, adulthood, and the communities that shape our lives.
The album reflects a period of personal and artistic maturity, exploring the conversations, celebrations, disappointments, and connections that define contemporary relationships. Throughout the record, Horan combines warm acoustic textures, polished pop production, and emotionally direct lyricism, creating songs that feel both intimate and expansive.
Rather than revisiting familiar territory, Dinner Party demonstrates an artist continuing to grow in confidence and perspective. The result is a body of work that invites listeners to gather, reflect, and find meaning in shared experiences.
Makeshivt Kity’s Experimental (Voice & Cello): ‘Bring to the Table’ era songs feature the album’s principal cellist, Kate Porter
Working from a radically different musical tradition, Makeshivt Kity presents Experimental (Voice & Cello), a release that continues Jordannah Elizabeth Graham-Mayer’s ongoing investigation into electroacoustic composition, improvisation, and interdisciplinary artistic practice.
Under the Makeshivt Kity name, Graham-Mayer has developed a distinctive body of experimental music that combines voice, field recordings, electronic processing, spoken word elements, and collaborative performance. Her compositions often blur the boundaries between song, sound art, and contemporary experimental music, creating immersive listening experiences that reward close attention.
Experimental (Voice & Cello) centers on a dialogue between Graham-Mayer’s voice and the cello performances of Kate Porter, whose expressive playing serves as both collaborator and counterpart throughout the recording. Rather than adhering to conventional song structures, the release unfolds through texture, gesture, resonance, and spontaneous interaction. Moments of fragile vocal expression intersect with sustained cello tones, creating an atmosphere that is simultaneously intimate and exploratory. The recording embraces uncertainty and discovery, allowing the performers to respond to one another in real time while revealing the emotional possibilities that emerge through improvisation.
